HOPE: Jothydev's Diabetes Research Centre, being a centre of excellence of RSSDI HOPE program, offers backing top the selected health care organisations/centres in supporting essential medical supplies like insulin, syringes, lancet, glucometer strips etc. to type 1 diabetes who belong to the underprevileged sections of the society.
T1D Life Project: Type 1 diabetes project supplies and supports the young population of T1D Foundation under the auspices of P.Kesavadev Trust. The project provides Blood glucose meters and strips for 70 people of age 25 and less.
Sweet Stars: It is a goodwill project of P. Kesavadev Trust and a joint venture with Type 1 Diabetes Welfare Society. A good number of children with Type 1 diabetes who are economically challenged are benefited through this project.
'Life for a Child' Project: An esteemed project of P.Kesavadev Trust aiding 150 children with Type 1 diabetes below the age of 25. The project focused on providing insulins, glucometers, strips and education materials.
Sweet: Supports young Type 1 diabetes with insulin and other essential supplies.

Type 1 Diabetes Awareness Programme
Jothydev’s Diabetes Research Centre and Kesavadev Trust in association with the Type 1 Diabetes Welfare Society organized a Type 1 Diabetes awareness program on April 26th, 2023, at IMA Hall, Cochin. The event was inaugurated by Adv.M Anil Kumar (Mayor, Kochi Municipal Corporation) and featured an impressive lineup of speakers, including Dr.Jothydev Kesavadev (Managing Trustee, P Kesavadev Trust, Chairman & Managing Director, JDC), Dr.Anitha Nambiar (Treasurer, RSSDI, Kerala Chapter), Ms.Gopika Krishnan (Secretary, KT1DP, Sweet Stars, Director of Research and Academics, JDC), Mr.Abdul Jaleel (State Secretary, Kerala Type 1 Diabetes Welfare Society), Mr.Vijesh T R (State President, Kerala Type 1 Diabetes Welfare Society), Dr.Asha Ashik (Centre Head and Chief Consultant Diabetologist, JDC Kochi), and Ms.Geethu Sanal (Chief Dietitian, JDC Trivandrum).
The program focused on educating patients and parents about Type 1 Diabetes and its management. The event included cultural programs by children and interactive sessions with diabetes specialists and dietitians. The program was highly successful in raising awareness about Type 1 Diabetes and providing valuable information and support to the community.

JDC is indulged in various CSR activities with the aim to provide free treatment for poor patients including orphaned elderly, children and adolescents with type 1 diabetes. The CSR activities of the Centre are carried out by P.Kesavadev Trust. Formed in the year 2001, the Trust extends its support to the poor and needy by organizing various programs and accomplishments
